Mike Malott delivered a knockout-of-the-year contender at UFC Edmonton on October 18, 2026, finishing Joaquin Buckley with a perfectly timed knee to claim the main event victory and a $100,000 performance bonus. The win, Malott’s biggest of his career, extended his UFC winning streak to five fights and moved his record to 15-2-1.

Three other fighters also walked away with $100,000 bonuses from the Canadian card.

Mandel Nallo was ruthless in dispatching UFC veteran Nate Landwehr, stopping him via TKO in the second round with a brutal combination of leg kicks and punches. The performance earned “Mango” a well-deserved bonus and underlined his growing reputation inside the Octagon.

Marc-Andre Barriault showed the kind of resilience that has defined his career, knocking out Kyle Daukaus with elbows to snap a two-fight losing streak. The finish was emphatic enough to earn Barriault a place among the night’s bonus winners.

The final bonus went to Joel Faglier, who produced an upset victory over Javad Mahjoub in the heavyweight division. Faglier worked the body effectively throughout, leaving his opponent exhausted by the second round. The win keeps the Venezuelan prospect’s professional record unblemished at 7-0 and opens his UFC account with an immediate statement.
