DMCA

If you believe that material on SportsCatch infringes a copyright you own, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice using the procedure below. Please note that we already credit originating publishers in every news article — many overlap concerns can be resolved by a short conversation rather than a formal notice.

Notice format

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material on our site that you claim is infringing — please include the full URL.
  3. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

How to submit

Send the notice via the contact page with subject `DMCA Takedown Notice`. We respond within 5 business days; in clear-cut cases the disputed material is removed within 24 hours pending the full review.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the equivalent set of statements. Repeat-infringement allegations are tracked; repeat infringers risk losing access to publish on the platform if such access exists.
