Every one of the 26 fighters on the UFC Edmonton card hit their marks at Thursday’s weigh-ins, confirming the promotion’s return to Canada is officially on for October 17.

Headlining the 13-bout card is a welterweight clash between Joaquin Buckley and Mike Malott, both of whom tipped the scales at 170.5 pounds. The five-round main event represents a significant opportunity for Malott (14-2-1), who enters on a four-fight winning streak that includes a TKO stoppage of former title contender Gilbert Burns. At 34, the Team Alpha Male fighter is making his second UFC headline appearance and looking to cement a place among the division’s elite.

Also on the card, strawweight contender Erin Blanchfield faces Jasmine Jasudavicius in what shapes up as one of the more compelling co-main bouts of the evening. Blanchfield came in at exactly 125 pounds, while Jasudavicius weighed 124.5.

One minor deviation from the standard limit came in the light heavyweight division, where Tanner Boser (247.5) and Jhonata Diniz (251.5) both came in above the 205-pound non-title threshold — a permissible outcome for a heavyweight contest, where no upper limit applies.
