Brady vs. Bonfim set for five-round UFC main event on November 7 in Las Vegas
Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim will headline a UFC card at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on November 7 in a five-round welterweight bout. The matchup pits Brady's top-10 ranking and 19-2 record against Bonfim's five-fight winning streak.
Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim will meet in a five-round welterweight main event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on November 7, the UFC announced during the UFC 330 broadcast on Saturday.
Brady enters the bout on the back of a lopsided decision win over Joaquin Buckley in May, a performance that cemented his standing inside the welterweight top 10. The Philadelphia native carries a 19-2 professional record, with notable victories over Leon Edwards, Gilbert Burns, and Kelvin Gastelum underlining his credentials as a legitimate title contender.
Bonfim, 28, arrives in equally sharp form. The Brazilian is riding a five-fight winning streak and most recently delivered what many observers described as a near-flawless performance when he stopped former UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad in his first main event appearance. That result pushed Bonfim firmly into the division’s upper tier and set up this high-stakes matchup.
With both fighters firmly in the welterweight title conversation, the winner of the November 7 bout is expected to take a significant step towards a championship shot in the always-competitive 170-pound division. The UFC has indicated that additional bouts for the card will be announced in the coming weeks.
