Magny's 25th UFC win ties Oliveira and leaves only Jim Miller ahead
Neil Magny rallied from an early scare to stop Ramiz Brahimaj by second-round TKO at UFC 330 in Philadelphia, reaching 25 UFC victories and drawing level with Charles Oliveira in second place on the all-time wins list.
Neil Magny recorded his 25th UFC victory at UFC 330 on Saturday, stopping Ramiz Brahimaj by second-round technical knockout at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The win draws the welterweight veteran level with former lightweight champion and reigning BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira in second place on the UFC’s all-time wins list, behind only Jim Miller, who holds the record with 28.
Magny had to weather an early scare before turning the fight around and finishing Brahimaj inside two rounds — the third consecutive finish in his win column. The 39-year-old, who has been on the UFC roster since 2013, expressed satisfaction with both the result and the manner of it in his post-fight interview.
“Man, it feels great,” Magny said. “This puts me at 3-1 in my last four fights; all three wins came by finish, so I feel like I am in a very good position. I feel pretty good about it.”
Magny has long been regarded as a gatekeeper to the upper tier of the welterweight division, a label his recent record does little to dispel. His four losses in that stretch have come against genuinely elite opposition: former Bellator champion Yaroslav Amosov, rising contenders Carlos Prates and Michael Morales — both considered among the leading challengers for the welterweight title — and Ian Garry.
That context makes the consistency of his win record all the more notable. Reaching 25 UFC victories is a benchmark only two other fighters in the promotion’s history have matched or surpassed, and doing so at 39, with three finishes in his last three wins, suggests Magny is not merely accumulating appearances but remaining a legitimate competitive force at the sport’s highest level.
