Ligue 1+ to broadcast Monaco's Conference League play-offs against Gornik Zabrze
The LFP platform has acquired broadcasting rights to AS Monaco's Conference League play-off matches against Polish club Gornik Zabrze on August 20 and 27. Monaco, managed by Filipe Luis, are favourites but must be wary of an in-form opponent.
The Ligue 1+ platform has obtained broadcasting rights to AS Monaco’s Conference League play-off matches, according to the Monascope7 X account. The Monégasques face Gornik Zabrze on Thursday, August 20 at 20:00 (away) and Thursday, August 27 at 18:45 (home).
This acquisition is part of the rapid expansion of the platform owned by the Ligue de football professionnelle (LFP). For the 2026-2027 season, Ligue 1+ has already secured full broadcasting rights to the French championship, with beIN Sports retaining one match per matchday the previous season.
Seventh in Ligue 1 last season, AS Monaco approach this Conference League as favourites. A similar role to the one Strasbourg held in the previous edition, before the Alsatian club fell in the semi-finals. The Principality club, now managed by Brazilian Filipe Luis, must navigate these play-offs smoothly to confirm their ambitions in the competition.
Opposite them, Gornik Zabrze will not come as willing victims. The club based in southern Poland has started their season in impressive fashion, with three wins in three matches, including a victory last Sunday against Wisla Kraków (2-1). A record that invites Monaco to exercise caution before their trip to Poland.
