A race-used gearbox carrier from Alpine’s 2024 Formula 1 car, mounted alongside a race-specification rear wing on a custom display stand, is now open for bidding through F1 Authentics, the official memorabilia platform of Formula 1. The lot, titled the BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team 2024 Race-Used Gearbox Carrier & Rear Wing Assembly, had already attracted a bid of $2,356 at the time of writing.

The gearbox carrier retains its original FIA seal, while the rear wing — described as race-specification rather than race-used — still features a fully functioning DRS flap that can be opened and closed manually. Both components are finished in Alpine’s distinctive pink-and-blue BWT livery, with Castrol branding visible on the wing endplates.

Constructed from carbon fibre and metal, the gearbox carrier forms part of the car’s rear structure. Together, the two components make up the rear assembly that helped Alpine finish sixth in the 2024 constructors’ championship — a season that included a memorable double podium at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, where Esteban Ocon crossed the line second and Pierre Gasly third in wet conditions.

The piece forms part of ‘The Austin Auction’ collection on the F1 Authentics platform, which requires users to register to view the full range of lots. It is one of several items available in the sale.
