Ferrari unveils Brazil-themed cap for Hamilton ahead of Interlagos race
Ferrari and Puma have revealed a yellow-and-green Brazil-themed cap that Lewis Hamilton will wear at the Brazilian Grand Prix on 6-8 November. Fans can purchase their own version from 3 November.
Ferrari has unveiled a special Brazil-themed cap for Lewis Hamilton to wear at the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, with the design going on sale to the public on 3 November — three days before the race weekend begins.
The team announced the cap in a joint Instagram post with kit partner Puma on 16 October. “Lewis will be wearing a small piece of Brazil with him at Interlagos. And it can also be yours soon. Available to buy on November 3rd,” Ferrari wrote alongside photos of the seven-time world champion modelling the new design.
The cap features a bold yellow base with distressed detailing that reveals green underneath, directly referencing the colours of the Brazilian flag. The Ferrari logo sits prominently on the front in silver, with a matching silver Puma logo embroidered on the bill.
Reaction from fans was swift and largely enthusiastic. “Give me one right now, Sir Lewis Hamilton,” one commenter wrote, while another added: “I’m not even a Ferrari fan, but that is slick. I’d wear it.” Some fans went further, speculating that the cap could hint at a matching special-edition helmet for the Interlagos round.
The design carries personal significance for Hamilton, who was made an honorary citizen of Brazil in November 2022. Speaking at the ceremony, the 41-year-old dedicated the honour to the late Ayrton Senna, citing the Brazilian legend as the reason he first dreamed of becoming a Formula 1 world champion.
“When I was five years old, I saw Ayrton race for the first time, and that was the moment I knew that I wanted to be a world champion, just like him,” Hamilton said at the time. “I really do feel like now I’m one of you, finally.”
The 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix runs from 6-8 November and closes out a demanding triple-header. It follows the United States Grand Prix (23-25 October) and the Mexican Grand Prix (30 October – 1 November).
