Transferred for €50M, Ferran Torres impresses in training ahead of Rennes
Arriving from Barcelona this summer for approximately 50 million euros, Spanish forward Ferran Torres scored multiple goals during a training session at the Poissy Campus and is pushing for a spot in PSG's squad for the first Ligue 1 matchday against Rennes.
Ferran Torres has already made an impression in his new colors. Transferred from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for approximately 50 million euros this summer, the 26-year-old Spanish forward showed impressive form during training on Thursday at the Poissy Campus, despite a late return from vacation.
During a shooting drill, the 2026 World Cup winner scored multiple goals, under the apparently amused gaze of Désiré Doué. A convincing start that strengthens his case for a place in the PSG squad for the home match against Rennes on Sunday evening, on the occasion of the first Ligue 1 matchday.
