Robert Pirès becomes father for fourth time at 53 with birth of Olivia
Former French international winger Robert Pirès announced Friday the birth of his daughter Olivia, born on October 31. The 1998 World Cup winner becomes a father for the fourth time at age 53.
Robert Pirès announced Friday the birth of his daughter Olivia, born on October 31, becoming a father for the fourth time at 53 years old. The former France winger shared the news on Instagram with a simple message — “Welcome my baby girl” — accompanied by three photos, including a picture of his pregnant partner.
The child’s mother is named Emmanuelle. Discreet, she maintains a private Instagram profile followed by approximately 1,200 subscribers. This is the third officially known relationship of the French international with 79 caps.
Before this union, Pirès had been married to Nathalie, from whom he divorced in 2003, then shared 21 years of life together with Jessica Lemarié, until their separation in 2024. From that relationship were born Naïa (2005), Théo (2008) and Alessio (2011).
Despite the breakup, relations between the two former partners remain serene. “I lived incredible things that I would never have experienced without him,” Jessica Lemarié confided in the podcast À contre-jour. “He remains the father of my children, he’s someone I will love my whole life. I love him differently, but I respect him enormously, I want what’s best for him.”
Olivia’s birth comes just days after Pirès’ jubilee organized in Metz, where the former Arsenal player brought together many figures from world football, and just days after his 53rd birthday, celebrated on October 29.
