Kolo Muani provides assist as Juventus draws with Fiorentina
Randal Kolo Muani provided an assist for Woltemade as Juventus continued its upward momentum, but could only manage a 2-2 draw away at Fiorentina on Sunday.
Juventus drew 2-2 away at Fiorentina on Sunday, despite another assist from Randal Kolo Muani, who is confirming his progress since arriving in Turin.
The former PSG striker was one of the few Bianconeri to stand out, setting up Nick Woltemade with a fine piece of play in the 32nd minute to equalize for the first time. The Old Lady had been caught off guard as early as the 4th minute by a goal from Pellegrino, before Njie extended the lead again in the 54th. It was ultimately Bremer, in the 66th minute, who secured the draw for Turin.
This result continues a positive week for Kolo Muani, who scored a goal and provided an assist on Thursday in the Europa League at Alkmaar (1-2). Left out of the French national team selection by Didier Deschamps — Marcus Thuram having made a better start to the season — the former Nantes player appears to be finding his feet in Serie A.
In the standings, Juventus remains stuck in 7th place and continues to lose ground on the top four. Fiorentina, meanwhile, sits in 15th position.
