Greater Manchester supporters have no shortage of options for watching England’s World Cup 2026 campaign, with pubs and venues across the region setting up big screens, fanzones, and matchday events ahead of the tournament’s June 11 start.

The 2026 World Cup, hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States and running until July 19, marks the first edition to feature 48 teams — up from the previous 32 — and the first to be shared across three host nations.

England, captained by Harry Kane, open their group stage against Croatia at 9pm on June 17, before further group fixtures against Ghana on June 23 and Panama on June 27. The squad includes Jordan Pickford, John Stones, and Marcus Rashford making their third World Cup appearances, while Jordan Henderson features for a fourth time, equalling the record set by Sir Bobby Charlton. Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, and Bukayo Saka are at their second World Cup, and nine players — including Kobbie Mainoo, Eberechi Eze, and Reece James — make their senior tournament debuts. The squad is set to base itself in Kansas City from June 13.

For fans looking to soak up the atmosphere with fellow supporters, here is a selection of Greater Manchester venues hosting screenings. Details are subject to change, so check directly with each venue before heading out.

The Grosvenor

The Grosvenor is positioning itself as one of Manchester’s biggest England World Cup fanzones, with giant screens and a complimentary Fireball shot for every England goal. Matchday merchandise — including England wigs, St George’s glasses, and foam hands — will also be available. A small number of free early-bird tickets are on offer, with £3 tickets also available and general admission priced at £7 including a drink.
