PSG submits third offer to Monaco for Akliouche
Paris Saint-Germain has submitted a third proposal to AS Monaco for attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche, moving closer to the €50 million demanded by the Monégasque club. A deal could be finalized as early as next week.
Paris Saint-Germain has submitted a third offer to AS Monaco for the transfer of Maghnes Akliouche, according to L’Équipe journalist Flavien Trésarrieu. This new proposal would be closer to the €50 million required by Monaco, following a second offer valued at €35 million.
The matter had opened last summer, but PSG had chosen to keep Kang-in Lee for one more season. The imminent departure of the South Korean midfielder to Atlético Madrid has reignited discussions, with the Paris management now keen to complete the recruitment of the 24-year-old player as quickly as possible.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms that PSG “is actively pursuing negotiations” and that the club is confident. Most importantly, Akliouche himself wants to join Paris, something Romano had already indicated in June.
Negotiations are expected to accelerate as early as next week. The French international is currently in the United States with the France team, competing in the third-place playoff of the 2026 World Cup against England on Saturday evening.
