Kolo Muani back at PSG, his future still uncertain ahead of summer transfer
Randal Kolo Muani is training again with PSG's reserve squad after unsuccessful loan spells at Juventus and Tottenham. The Paris club is seeking an exit for the striker, who is under contract until 2028.
Randal Kolo Muani has returned to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but his future at the club remains unresolved. According to L’Équipe, the French international striker is currently training with PSG’s reserve squad, with Luis Enrique’s first-team group not expected until early August.
Signed for €95 million from Eintracht Frankfurt in summer 2023, Kolo Muani has never managed to establish himself in the capital. Loaned to Juventus Turin in January 2025, then to Tottenham for the second half of the season, he scored just five goals in 41 appearances for Spurs, which rules out a return to England from the outset.
His spell in Turin, however, left a far more favorable impression. The 26-year-old striker has not hidden his desire to return to Juventus, but negotiations between the two clubs are proving complex. Luis Campos and PSG’s management are seeking a solution that satisfies all parties, while Kolo Muani remains tied to PSG until June 2028.
The former Nantes player is not the only fringe player to have returned to Paris. Renato Sanches, 28, is also back after a loan spell at Panathinaikos last season. The Portuguese international midfielder still has one year left on his PSG contract, and his situation will be another priority for Luis Campos this summer.
