Undefeated Khasan Magomedsharipov faces stiffest career test against Borics at PFL Dubai

Khasan Magomedsharipov will face the toughest challenge of his professional career when he meets Adam Borics (20-4) in a featherweight bout at PFL Dubai on November 14 at Coca-Cola Arena. The matchup adds significant intrigue to a card already headlined by a heavyweight title clash between Vadim Nemkov and Sergey Bilostenniy.

Magomedsharipov enters the fight with a perfect 11-0 record, having finished eight of those victories. The younger brother of former UFC standout Zabit Magomedsharipov, he is widely noted for a similarly well-rounded skill set. His most recent outing was a first-round submission win over Joshua Weems.

Borics represents a meaningful step up in competition. The Hungarian veteran has dropped two of his last three fights, most recently suffering a decision loss to A.J. McKee, but his experience and technical depth make him a credible threat to Magomedsharipov’s unbeaten run.

Also added to the Dubai card is a bantamweight contest between former Bellator MMA champion Sergio Pettis (25-8) and Joji Goto (20-9). Pettis is returning from a decision loss to Mitchell McKee in April, which ended a two-fight winning streak. Goto, making his PFL debut, arrives on the back of a first-round submission win over Azizbek Temirov.
