Cavalcanti vs. Montague shifted from UFC Qatar to UFC 335 in Las Vegas on Dec. 12
The women's bantamweight bout between Jacqueline Cavalcanti and Michelle Montague has been pulled from UFC Qatar on Nov. 21 and rescheduled for UFC 335 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 12.
Jacqueline Cavalcanti and Michelle Montague will no longer meet at UFC Qatar on Nov. 21. The women’s bantamweight matchup has been moved three weeks forward to UFC 335 on Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, according to reporter Marcel Dorff.
Montague enters the rescheduled bout undefeated at 8-0, having finished her first six professional opponents by rear-naked choke before signing with the UFC. Since joining the promotion, “The Wild One” has gone 2-0, winning both appearances by decision.
Cavalcanti carries a 10-2 record into the fight. The Brazilian built a five-fight winning streak inside the octagon before suffering a decision loss to Ketlen Vieira in May, her first UFC setback.
The bantamweight clash slots into a UFC 335 card that already features several notable women’s bouts. Maycee Barber is booked against Carli Judice, while Angela Hill meets Shanelle Dyer. The event is headlined by a BMF title fight between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes.
