TNT Sports to stream free Premier League build-up show on YouTube from Hull vs Man Utd
TNT Sports will make the first 30 minutes of its Premier League pre-match show EKO available free on YouTube, launching with Manchester United's visit to Hull City on Saturday. The format will feature a distinct, conversational style tailored to the platform.
TNT Sports will offer free access to the opening 30 minutes of its Premier League build-up programme EKO on YouTube, beginning with Hull City’s home fixture against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon — the first game of the 2026/27 Premier League season.
EKO, presented by Liam MacDevitt or Olivia Buzaglo, starts at 11am and covers early team news and pre-match analysis from pundits including Steven Gerrard and Joe Cole ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off. The YouTube version will not simply mirror the linear broadcast; TNT says it will adopt a more relaxed, conversational tone and a presentation style designed around how audiences engage with content on the platform.
The move marks the first time TNT Sports has distributed any part of its Premier League coverage freely on YouTube. Scott Young, executive vice-president at parent company Warner Bros Discovery Europe, said the broadcaster is focused on reaching fans wherever they already spend time online.
“We’re watching where football fans enjoy engaging with content,” Young said. “We firmly believe you need to be everywhere to start to engage an audience and that includes social media and YouTube. It’s adding to the content we’ve been making for many years.”
Young described the initiative as a way to signal the start of the weekend football cycle. “The opportunity we’re now looking at is, how do we knock on the door with an audience on a Saturday morning and say, look, football is about to start,” he added. “We’re in a test and learn phase. We want to hear from the audience.”
In a separate change for the new season, EKO will now run before all of TNT’s live Premier League fixtures rather than only its Saturday lunchtime games. Under the expanded schedule, an 8pm Saturday kick-off, for example, would be preceded by an EKO programme beginning at 6.30pm.
The YouTube stream covers only the pre-match show; the match itself and the full broadcast remain behind TNT’s subscription service.
