Tchouaméni moves his talk show The Bridge to Disney+ after rights sale
The Bridge, a talk show hosted by Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, is moving to Disney+. Agency ESN has sold the broadcasting rights to the American platform, which will offer episodes exclusively before they are released for free on YouTube.
The talk show The Bridge, hosted by Aurélien Tchouaméni, is changing platforms: ESN, the agency that manages the career of Real Madrid midfielder, has sold the broadcasting rights to the show to Disney+. The information was revealed by L’Équipe and confirmed on Saturday by Jonathan Kebe, head of the agency, at the Africa Day 2026 event organized at Sciences Po Paris.
Concretely, Disney+ will offer new episodes exclusively for one week before they are released for free on YouTube. An official announcement from the platform is still expected.
Launched in 2024, The Bridge regularly brings together personalities from various backgrounds, with several high-profile names among its guests. The program is part of a broader trend: that of athletes who become content producers and attract the attention of major streaming platforms.
Disney+ is thus confirming a strategy of expansion in sports and sports content. After acquiring rights to the Women’s Ligue des Champions, La Liga and Formula E, the platform is now betting on shows already produced and hosted by athletes. An identical logic has been applied in the United Kingdom, where Disney+ bought for several million pounds the rights to the filmed podcast The Overlap — which includes Stick to Football, hosted by former Manchester United player Gary Neville — as well as a new program, Stick to United, with Wayne Rooney.
