Paris FC came from behind to beat Olympique de Marseille 3-2 at the Vélodrome, thanks to a hat-trick from Lassine Sinayoko. Marseille thus concedes its second consecutive defeat.
Sinayoko was the architect of this Paris victory, finding the net three times to lead his team to victory in the Marseille stadium. A rare individual performance that turned around a match that was fiercely contested throughout.
Amine Gouiri did everything he could to salvage a result for Marseille, scoring a brace to keep his side in the contest. But the two goals from the Marseille striker were not enough to counter Sinayoko’s ruthless efficiency.
This defeat confirms a difficult period for Marseille, who suffer a second straight loss and see their momentum seriously dented.
