Real Madrid ready to offer €220m for Olise, an absolute club record
Florentino Perez would be willing to make an offer of 220 million euros for Michael Olise, which would make it the most expensive transfer in Real Madrid's history. Bayern Munich, however, has no intention of selling.
Real Madrid would be ready to spend up to 220 million euros to secure the services of Michael Olise, according to Spanish sports daily Marca. This amount would exceed all recruitment records for the Madrid club and far surpass the 150 million euros mentioned before Florentino Perez’s re-election as president.
The 24-year-old winger is going through a period of outstanding form. He scored a hat-trick against Northern Ireland in a warm-up match and also provided an assist for Kylian Mbappé in France’s first match of the 2026 World Cup against Senegal. These performances with the national team extend a very good season with Bayern Munich, and have not escaped Florentino Perez’s attention.
The Madrid president is already conducting ambitious recruitment this summer, with the announced arrivals of José Mourinho as head coach, as well as Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konaté. Olise would be at the top of the list to complete this project.
According to Marca, the French international would not be opposed to a move to the Spanish capital, but would have no intention of forcing his club’s hand. Bayern Munich, for its part, has already made it clear that it is not willing to sell. A standoff between the two clubs is looming, with a record offer as the only potential lever to unlock the deal.
