Ranked Wisniewska meets Hackett in PFL Chicago flyweight bout with title implications

Fifth-ranked women’s flyweight Paulina Wisniewska will face Chelsea Hackett at PFL Chicago on October 16, the Professional Fighters League has confirmed, adding a rankings-relevant 125-pound bout to a card already headlined by the Liz Carmouche–Jena Bishop title rematch.

Wisniewska arrives on the back of a strong run under the PFL banner. Her most recent outing came at the promotion’s first Chicago event of the year, where she stopped Kana Watanabe by second-round TKO — her fifth win for the organisation. The Polish fighter carries just one professional loss, a split-decision defeat to rising contender Sabrinna de Sousa in 2025.

Hackett enters the bout having ended a difficult run of form. She defeated Andrea Vazquez at PFL Belfast in April, snapping a three-fight losing streak and signalling a return to winning ways. A victory over a ranked opponent like Wisniewska would represent a significant step up and could earn Hackett her first placement in the PFL women’s flyweight rankings.

For Wisniewska, another win would consolidate her position near the top of the division and keep her in the conversation for a future title shot, with Carmouche and Bishop set to settle their own score at the top of the card.

PFL Chicago is currently scheduled to be the promotion’s final United States event of the year. The full card also features Timur Khizriev against Gabriel Braga, Denis Goltsov versus Maxwell Djantou Nana, Alexandr Shabliy facing Landry Ward, Sarvarjon Khamidov against Rafael do Nascimento, Oualy Tandia versus Kendly St. Louis, Emiliano Sordi against Abraham Bably, Shannon Clark versus Lucero Acosta, Eliezer Kubanza against Trey Waters, and Cassio Junio facing Kevin Pease.
