PSG ready to sacrifice Barcola and Ramos to land Olise from Bayern
PSG are targeting Michael Olise, Bayern Munich's winger under contract until 2029 and valued at €150 million, and are considering selling Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos to finance this ambitious transfer.
PSG have Michael Olise, Bayern Munich’s winger, in their sights and are prepared to part with Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos to complete this deal as early as this summer, according to information from Olivier Ménard, presenter of L’Équipe du Soir.
Two-time UEFA Champions League holders, the Paris club openly displays ambitions of a third consecutive European crown and intends to significantly strengthen during the next summer transfer window. The Olise path, 23, emerges as the stated priority, despite considerable obstacles: the French international is tied to Bayern until June 2029 and valued at 150 million euros on Transfermarkt.
Since his arrival from Crystal Palace in summer 2024, Olise has reached rare heights in Bavaria: 42 goals and 46 assists in 107 matches played, statistics that make him one of the most coveted attackers in Europe. Convincing Bayern to sell such a player to a direct competitor on the continental stage is itself a major challenge.
To overcome this financial hurdle, PSG are considering a deal including the sales of Barcola and Ramos, for a total amount estimated at “approximately 100 million euros”, according to Ménard. Agent Samir Khiat, who appeared on the same show, clarified that Barcola — once in Bayern’s sights — could actually serve as a bargaining chip to facilitate the transaction.
The equation remains complex nonetheless. Beyond Bayern’s desire to keep their player, the year 2026 is marked by the World Cup, which makes major summer moves even more contested and valuations even higher. PSG will need to convince on several fronts simultaneously to turn this lead into a signing.
