PSG players parade back-to-back Champions League trophies at Roland Garros
Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue and Warren Zaire-Emery brought both Champions League trophies to Court Philippe-Chatrier on Monday, two days after PSG beat Arsenal on penalties in Budapest to retain Europe's top club prize.
Paris Saint-Germain players carried their back-to-back Champions League trophies onto Court Philippe-Chatrier at Roland Garros on Monday, celebrating their second consecutive European title in front of the French Open crowd.
Dembele and Barcola brought out the newly won 2025 trophy and placed it beside last year’s, two days after PSG defeated Arsenal 4-3 on penalties at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. The final had ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, with Dembele converting a second-half penalty to cancel out Kai Havertz’s sixth-minute strike.
Doue, who carried out the first trophy alongside Warren Zaire-Emery, addressed the crowd directly. “We’re bringing you the second star, we’re proud and happy,” he said. “We want to thank everyone at the club, it’s a collective victory.” Doue had starred in last year’s final too, a 5-0 demolition of Inter Milan.
Dembele struck a forward-looking note despite the celebrations. “We’ve lived outstanding moments with this squad and we want to win a third one,” he said, “but first we have the World Cup with France.”
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was also present at Roland Garros, which sits in western Paris close to the club’s Parc des Princes home.
The appearance doubles as a farewell for the quartet before international duty. Dembele, Barcola, Doue and Zaire-Emery join France’s training camp on Tuesday ahead of two warm-up fixtures: Les Bleus face Ivory Coast in Nantes on Thursday and Northern Ireland in Lille the following Monday before flying to the United States for the World Cup. France have been drawn in Group I alongside Senegal, Iraq and Norway.
