Premier League 2026/27 fixtures revealed as Arsenal begin title defence
The Premier League's 2026/27 schedule is set to be released on Friday 19 June at 10am BST. Arsenal, who ended a 22-year wait for the title last season, will open their defence against a division that includes returning sides Coventry, Ipswich and Hull.
The Premier League’s full fixture list for the 2026/27 season will be published on Friday 19 June at 10am BST, giving all 20 top-flight clubs their complete schedule ahead of a campaign that kicks off on 22 August 2026 and runs through to 30 May 2027.
Arsenal head into the new season as champions after ending a 22-year wait for the title, holding off Manchester City in a closely contested final standings. The Gunners will now face the added challenge of defending their crown while managing European commitments alongside a squad returning from a World Cup summer.
Three promoted clubs re-enter the top flight: Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City. Coventry’s return is the most historically significant — Frank Lampard’s side have been absent from the Premier League for 25 years. Ipswich and Hull also come back up after earning promotion through the Championship.
With nine clubs set to compete in European competition next season, squad depth and rotation will be a recurring theme, particularly given the physical toll of a World Cup on international players. The season will feature 33 weekends of fixtures and five midweek rounds.
The full list of Premier League clubs for 2026/27 is: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Coventry City, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Hull, Ipswich, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Tottenham.
For those following the second tier and below, the EFL Championship, League One and League Two fixture lists for 2026/27 will be confirmed on Thursday 25 June at 12pm BST.
