Michael Olise and Harry Kane, both born in London, represent Bayern Munich at the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday evening in the English capital. Kane is among the top favorites alongside Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé.
Harry Kane and Michael Olise traveled to London on Monday evening for the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, both playing the role of local representatives in their birthplace. The two Bayern Munich forwards are accompanied by their teammates Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz, also nominated among the 30 candidates established by France Football and L’Équipe.
Kane stands out as one of the evening’s top favorites, alongside Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé. The English forward boasts impressive statistics: 73 goals and 8 assists across all competitions, plus a season judged exceptional on the collective front.
Olise, meanwhile, is expected to settle for a place in the top 10 despite a remarkable personal season. The French attacking midfielder scored 27 goals with Bayern and in international play, while providing 34 assists. He finished as the top passer of the 2026 World Cup, held in North America.
Young Lennart Karl completes the Bayern delegation in London: he is among the ten nominees for the Men’s Young Talent Trophy, the official new name of the Kopa Trophy. Lamine Yamal is also in contention for this award and is the strong favorite to win it.
