AC Milan have targeted Gonçalo Ramos as their offensive priority for the summer transfer market, but a valuation gap risks blocking negotiations quickly. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are demanding €40 million for their 25-year-old striker, while Transfermarkt values him at approximately €30 million.

The Lombard club endured a catastrophic season: after spending much of Serie A near the top of the table, the Rossoneri faded in the second half of the campaign and missed out on Champions League qualification. Massimiliano Allegri was sacked and replaced by Ruben Amorim, the former Manchester United manager, who intends to rebuild the squad this summer.

Amorim sees Ramos as the ideal profile to revive Milan’s attack. The Portuguese forward, currently competing with his national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, has suffered from a lack of playing time at PSG since arriving from Benfica for €65 million two years ago. A departure would allow him to regain a central role, and Paris would recover funds from a player whose stock has declined significantly.

The equation remains complicated for Milan, however. The club’s finances do not appear capable of absorbing the €40 million demanded by PSG, and the Rafael Leão situation complicates matters further. The Portuguese winger has repeatedly expressed his desire to leave the club, but Gazzetta reports that no serious buyers have emerged at this stage, with his salary level constituting a major obstacle.

Milan cannot therefore finance Ramos’s arrival without first selling Leão, creating a dependency effect that could drag on throughout the summer. Amorim faces a transfer window that promises to be both lengthy and uncertain.
