Mbappé reveals four personalities he would invite to dinner, from Jordan to Rihanna
Questioned by The Athletic, Kylian Mbappé unveiled his ideal dinner table: Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo, Serena Williams and Rihanna. The Real Madrid striker also confessed he cannot cook.
Kylian Mbappé offered a glimpse into his personal affinities during an interview with The Athletic, revealing the four personalities he would willingly gather around a table.
Asked about his ideal dinner guests, the Real Madrid striker and captain of the France national team first cited Michael Jordan. “He is a source of inspiration… I met him once and I would like to see him more to discuss his career,” he explained about the NBA legend.
Cristiano Ronaldo would also be among the guests. Mbappé was keen to highlight the evolution of their relationship: “He was my idol, he is now my friend, and I love spending time with him… He gives me advice, supports me and knows I will always support him.” Serena Williams completes the sporting trio. “Because I want to draw inspiration from people and she is an athlete I love,” justified France’s all-time leading goalscorer.
The only non-athlete on the list is singer Rihanna. Mbappé was brief about this choice: “I like Rihanna.” He did, however, warn his potential guests on one crucial point: “I don’t cook. If I try, everyone will head home in a hurry. Maybe we could order something?”
This interview comes during the first international break of the season, a period when Mbappé is set to rejoin the France national team.
