Manchester City open 2026/27 Premier League season at home to Bournemouth on August 23
Manchester City's 2026/27 Premier League fixtures have been confirmed, with the Blues hosting Bournemouth on August 23 to open the campaign. The first Manchester derby falls on September 12 at Old Trafford, while the season concludes at Sunderland on May 30.
Manchester City will begin their 2026/27 Premier League campaign at the Etihad Stadium against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, August 23, with the full fixture list now confirmed. The Blues’ first away trip follows six days later at Crystal Palace on August 29, before newly-promoted Coventry City visit Manchester on September 5.
The season starts a week later than usual to accommodate the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and it will conclude a week before the Champions League final, with City travelling to Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on Sunday, May 30.
The first Manchester derby of the season arrives early, as City’s fourth fixture takes them to Old Trafford on September 12. The reverse fixture is scheduled for March 20 at the Etihad Stadium.
City’s Boxing Day fixture sees them travel to Newcastle United for a 3pm kick-off, reviving a traditional slot in the calendar. Other notable dates include a trip to Liverpool on October 10, Arsenal away on November 28, and a home game against Chelsea on December 12.
