Liverpool host Man Utd and Arsenal face City in blockbuster Premier League November schedule

The Premier League has released its November broadcast schedule, with Liverpool’s home fixture against Manchester United on Sunday, November 22 leading a month packed with high-stakes matchups. Arsenal’s meeting with Manchester City and the first Merseyside derby of the season also feature prominently.

Liverpool appear in all three of the month’s Premier League weekends — the fourth weekend falls during an international break. Their most anticipated fixture is the visit of arch-rivals United to Anfield, a ground where Harry Maguire scored to hand United their first away win in a decade in the corresponding fixture last season.

Arsenal, currently defending champions, host City — the side widely regarded as their closest title challengers. City sit top of the table at the time of the announcement, though the gap between the sides is expected to shift considerably before the two meet.

The first Merseyside derby of the campaign takes place on Sunday, November 29, when Liverpool travel to Hill Dickinson Stadium. Everton’s ground was the scene of a dramatic Liverpool win last season, settled by Virgil van Dijk’s goal in the 100th minute.

Elsewhere in November, Frank Lampard returns to Everton — the club where he previously managed and helped secure top-flight survival — when his side visit on Friday, November 6. Tottenham travel to Leeds, City face Fulham, and Brighton meet Brentford in a Sunday afternoon fixture.

A number of games have been rescheduled due to European commitments, with clubs involved in the Europa League and Conference League — both of which play on Thursday nights — seeing their weekend fixtures moved to allow adequate turnaround time.
