Liverpool’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has gained significant momentum, with PSG insiders now expecting the France international to depart the club this summer following a fresh round of positive talks. The Reds have also had two bids rejected for Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the window closes.

Arsenal are pushing to complete the signing of Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, a deal that would cap a productive summer for the Premier League title holders. Alvarez had initially favoured a move to Barcelona, but the Argentine forward is now said to be open to joining the Gunners.

Manchester City have been among the busiest clubs in the window. They have agreed a €100m deal to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi and sold Savinho to Tottenham for £85m. City are also monitoring Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo and could revive interest in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, a move that would potentially make him the summer’s most expensive transfer.

Across Manchester, United are exploring a loan move for Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde, who is reportedly keen to leave the Catalan club. The pursuit comes after United completed a £148m midfield overhaul with the signing of Carlos Baleba.

At Aston Villa, both Ollie Watkins and goalkeeper Emi Martinez were absent from the club’s matchday squad, fuelling speculation over imminent exits. Watkins appears particularly close to a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
