Liverpool have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande and are continuing to monitor Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, with new head coach Andoni Iraola targeting multiple attacking additions in his first summer in charge.

According to Media Foot, the 19-year-old Diomande is willing to join Anfield this summer after PSG withdrew from the race due to his sizeable price tag. Liverpool have communicated a willingness to bid up to £87m for the Ivory Coast international, though Leipzig are reportedly holding firm at closer to £112m. The Bundesliga club are also understood to be working on a new contract for Diomande, which could complicate any deal.

Diomande is viewed internally as the long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is among the high-profile departures reshaping Iraola’s squad alongside Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate.

On the Barcola front, Fabrizio Romano reports that both Arsenal and Liverpool have registered interest in the France international, whose contract renewal talks with PSG have stalled. Barcola is contracted to the Champions League winners until 2028, but the lack of progress on an extension has opened the door to a potential exit. Liverpool have tracked the 23-year-old since last year.

Iraola has already made his first signing, bringing in Spain international Victor Munoz to add depth on the left wing alongside Cody Gakpo and academy product Rio Ngumoha. Reports suggest any move for Barcola would come in addition to the Diomande deal rather than as an alternative, pointing to an ambitious overhaul of Liverpool’s attacking options.

The Reds’ summer activity is still in its early stages, with Iraola only three weeks into the job, but the pace of business suggests Anfield’s recruitment team is moving quickly to reshape the squad ahead of the new season.
