Leeds United's 2026/27 away kit revives the white rose crest for first time since 1998/99
Adidas has unveiled Leeds United's away kit for 2026/27, a yellow, white and blue design featuring the retro white rose crest last seen on a club shirt during the 1998/99 season. USMNT midfielder Brenden Aaronson models the new strip.
Adidas has released Leeds United’s away kit for the 2026/27 Premier League season, headlined by the return of the white rose crest that last appeared on a Leeds shirt in 1998/99. The design pairs a yellow base with white and blue trim and an interwoven pattern across the fabric.
The club’s official press release confirmed the significance of the badge revival: “Our new away kit also sees the return of the much-loved white rose crest, which last appeared on a Leeds United shirt during the 98/99 campaign. Combining two iconic symbols with one of the club’s most recognisable colourways, this new launch celebrates both Leeds United’s heritage and the enduring connection between the club, the city and Yorkshire.”
Adidas’s iconic Trefoil logo features prominently on the chest, while blue and white trim runs along the sleeves and collar — a detail that has become a consistent thread through recent Leeds kits. Primary sponsor Red Bull’s logo appears on the front in the kit’s blue secondary colour.
USMNT midfielder Brenden Aaronson models the shirt, having rebuilt his standing with supporters during the 2024/25 campaign after a difficult spell following his arrival from Red Bull Salzburg.
The kit will be worn at Premier League grounds after Leeds secured top-flight survival for 2026/27. A mid-season tactical shift under manager Daniel Farke, combined with the goals of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and others, kept the Whites up and ensured the strip will be seen across the division rather than in the Championship.
