Kane faces debutant Medkouri as PFL Africa 3 sets 11-fight playoff card in Casablanca

PFL Africa 3 is locked in after all but one fighter made weight on Friday ahead of Saturday’s playoff card at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, Morocco, on 10 October 2026.

The 11-fight card is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Abdoulaye Kane and Badr Medkouri, with welterweight, lightweight, and bantamweight semifinals also on the bill. Winners in those divisions will advance to championship fights later in the year.

Kane (5-2) enters the main event having gone 2-2 inside the PFL. A two-fight winning streak was recently ended by Justin Clarke, leaving the heavyweight looking to rebuild momentum. His opponent, Medkouri (9-3), makes his promotional debut but arrives with considerably more experience — though he too is coming off a defeat, having been submitted by Eduardo Neves in his most recent outing.

One fighter missed the mark at the scales: Shido Boris Esperanca came in at 172 pounds for his 168-pound catchweight bout against Peace Nguphane, one pound over the agreed limit. Esperanca will be fined a percentage of his purse, but the fight remains on.
