ITV Sport has unveiled its full on-screen team for the 2026 World Cup, with Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou and former Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata among the pundits alongside Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Patrick Vieira. The broadcaster will cover 29 group stage matches from its base by Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
ITV Sport has confirmed its punditry and commentary team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Ange Postecoglou and Juan Mata among the new additions joining established voices Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Patrick Vieira for the tournament, which runs from 11 June to 19 July across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Mark Pougatch, Laura Woods and Semra Hunter will present the coverage from a base by Brooklyn Bridge in New York, with ITV Sport set to broadcast 29 group stage matches in total.
Keane, who played in the 1994 World Cup held in the United States, reflected on the return to familiar territory. “I’ve got good memories of playing over there in 1994, it’ll be a fabulous place to watch the football,” he said at ITV’s launch event.
Vieira, who will represent France’s perspective in the studio, named his compatriots as the tournament favourites. “This is the team to beat — they have the pace, mobility, strong defensively, and they’re well managed by Deschamps,” he said. The former Arsenal captain also spoke about the opportunity to grow the game in the host nation: “To make people understand in the US how passionate we are about soccer, as they call it — the passion of the game, the learning process over there — they want even more. It’ll be really interesting to interact with Americans and talk about the game we love.”
