First OM-PSG Classique Set for September 20 at the Vélodrome in 2026-2027
The LFP unveiled the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 calendar on Wednesday. Olympique de Marseille will host PSG on September 20 in matchday five, before the return fixture at Parc des Princes on February 7.
The Professional Football League (LFP) officially published the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 calendar on Wednesday. The two Classiques between Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain are now scheduled.
The first derby will be played at Stade Vélodrome on September 20, during matchday five. The return match will take place at Parc des Princes on February 7, as part of matchday nineteen. A notable feature of this calendar: no league matches will be scheduled midweek during the season.
The championship resumes on the weekend of August 22, with an opening fixture on Friday, August 21 still to be determined. Among the first matchday encounters are Le Havre-Monaco, Marseille-Strasbourg, PSG-Rennes and Toulouse-Lyon. Promoted Le Mans will host Brest, Ligue 2 champions Troyes will welcome Paris FC, and Nice, saved from relegation, will host Lorient. Lille will travel to Angers while Auxerre will go to Lens.
PSG will face Lille as early as matchday two, on August 30. Lyon will travel to Parc des Princes on October 25 (matchday 8) before hosting Marseille on December 13 (matchday 14).
In Ligue 2, the season will begin on Saturday, August 8 with Sochaux-AS Saint-Étienne in the evening. FC Metz, relegated from Ligue 1, will host Guingamp, and FC Nantes will welcome Red Star.
