Fazil and Brito headline DWCS Season 10 Week 2 at the UFC Apex
Namo Fazil and Kaik Brito meet in the welterweight main event of Dana White's Contender Series Season 10, Week 2 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Brito, making a second appearance on the show after falling short previously, headlines a five-bout card.
Namo Fazil and Kaik Brito squared off in the welterweight main event of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, Week 2 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
Brito is no stranger to the Contender Series stage, having previously competed on the show without earning a UFC contract. His second shot at impressing Dana White came against Fazil, with a roster spot the prize for a standout performance.
Douglas Rodrigues and Trent Miller met in the middleweight co-main event, adding another contract opportunity to a card that featured five bouts across the evening.
Logan Paxton and Christian Perez clashed in the third fight of the night, while Alik Lorenz took on Mahamed Aly and Roman Puga faced Taner Trembley to round out the card.
The Contender Series serves as one of the UFC’s primary talent pipelines, giving uncontracted fighters the chance to earn a deal based on performance. A finishing victory or a dominant display typically gives Dana White enough reason to extend an offer, though a win alone carries no guarantee of a contract.
