Sedriques Dumas found himself at the centre of a crowd altercation at Duel Arena 1 on August 29, taking down a fan dressed in a Joker costume during a brawl in the stands at Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, before security stepped in to separate them.

The incident occurred after the contest between Paul Miller and Ben Azoulay, which Miller won by split decision. The evening’s main event had already produced a major shock, with Mike Perry suffering a significant upset loss to Brandon Jenkins.

Dumas (10-5) attended the event as a spectator. The former UFC fighter is no stranger to legal trouble: he was arrested in Escambia County, Florida, on charges of home invasion, battery, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He continued to compete inside the octagon, fighting three more times for the promotion before the UFC released him in July, shortly after he was sentenced on those charges.

Three of the original charges against Dumas were reportedly dropped. He pleaded no contest to possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon and possession of marijuana over 20 grams.
