England opened their 2026 World Cup campaign with a 4-2 victory over Croatia, giving Thomas Tuchel’s side three points from their opening group game. The Three Lions now travel to Boston for their second fixture, facing Ghana on Tuesday, 23 June, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with kick-off scheduled for 9pm BST.
The win over Croatia was described as an impressive performance, and Tuchel’s squad will be looking to build on that momentum against Ghana to strengthen their position in the group.
With much of the tournament hosted across the United States, England have embraced the setting with a series of American sport-inspired merchandise releases. Among the new items are the England x MLB Nike Limited Jersey, priced at £120, and the England x NFL Nike Game Road Jersey at £105, both nodding to the host nation’s sporting culture.
Earlier this month, England also unveiled a widely popular Palace x Nike collaboration to mark the tournament. While much of the limited-edition range has sold out, the England Nike x Palace Pre Match Top remains available at the England Official Store from £34.99.
Thousands of England supporters have already made the trip to Boston ahead of the Ghana fixture, with Gillette Stadium — home of the NFL’s New England Patriots — set to host what promises to be a vibrant atmosphere.
