EE launches World Cup TV sale but Home Nations ticket prize is for post-tournament fixtures
EE is offering discounts of up to £500 on 4K smart TVs ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with customers who buy before 19 July entered into a draw for Home Nations match tickets — though the prize covers fixtures between September and December, not the tournament itself.
EE is running a smart TV sale ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, cutting prices by up to £500 on models from Samsung, Sony, LG and Hisense, and entering every TV buyer into a draw for Home Nations football tickets — though prospective winners should note those tickets are for domestic fixtures after the tournament, not matches in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Customers who purchase any TV through the EE website before 19 July — the day the World Cup final is scheduled — will be entered into a prize draw for 10 pairs of tickets to a Home Nations game of their choice. Supporters of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland can select a fixture from the September–December 2026 international calendar.
The headline discount in the sale is £500 off the Samsung QN93F QLED Mini LED 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV, reduced from £2,499 to £1,999. Samsung is also offering up to 20 per cent cashback on that model for customers who claim it directly through the manufacturer.
At the more affordable end of the range, the Hisense A7QTUK QLED AI Smart TV starts from £309. It features QLED Colour technology and an AI 4K Upscaler designed to enhance older content to near-4K quality, along with a built-in subwoofer for bass performance. Samsung’s Crystal UHD U8020F 4K Smart TV is available from £229, with the brand’s Crystal Processor handling upscaling and its Motion Xcelerator technology aimed at reducing blur during fast-moving sport.
Also included in the promotion is the 55-inch Toshiba UV2F LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV at £249, which carries Dolby Vision for picture quality and Dolby Atmos support for audio.
The sale runs until 19 July 2026, coinciding with the end of the World Cup.
