DWCS graduate Joseph Kropschot booked for UFC debut against Nick Klein on Oct. 31
Just weeks after earning his UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series, Joseph Kropschot will make his promotional debut against Nick Klein at UFC Fight Night on October 31 in Las Vegas.
Joseph Kropschot will step into the UFC octagon for the first time on October 31, facing Nick Klein at UFC Fight Night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas — less than three months after earning his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Kropschot secured his UFC deal on August 11, defeating Jonathan Kunneman by unanimous decision across three rounds in the opening episode of the 2026 Contender Series season. The 9-3 fighter has won five consecutive bouts, though his DWCS performance stands as the only decision victory of his career — the rest of his wins have come by finish.
Klein enters the matchup at 6-3 and carrying a two-fight losing streak. He has not competed since suffering a technical knockout loss to Andrey Pulyaev in August 2025, and his UFC debut ended in defeat against Mansur Abdul-Malik after he too earned his contract through the Contender Series in 2024.
For Kropschot, the booking represents a swift transition from prospect to active UFC roster member, with the promotion wasting little time in putting him to work. A winning debut would validate his Contender Series showing and establish him firmly within the UFC’s competitive landscape.
Klein, meanwhile, faces a must-win situation of sorts. Back-to-back losses have stalled his UFC career before it has properly started, and a victory over a fellow DWCS graduate would go some way to resetting his trajectory inside the promotion.
