Dillon Danis has pulled out of his MMA fight against Mike Perry less than 48 hours before Saturday’s Dual Arena card, with Brandon Jenkins — a veteran of both the UFC and MVP MMA — parachuting in as a last-minute replacement.

Perry broke the news himself at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, making no effort to hide his frustration. “This pssy ass bitch Dillon Danis didn’t show the fck up,” Perry said. “He’s not here. He backed the fck out because he’s a pssy.”

Perry was quick to praise his new opponent, however. “I want to give a shout out to my new opponent Brandon Jenkins. He’s getting on a plane right now. He’s flying here to weigh in the morning like a professional and fight me on Saturday night.”

The withdrawal will surprise few who have followed Danis’s career closely. He famously signed for two separate boxing matches against KSI, neither of which came to fruition after he pulled out on both occasions. More recently, Danis has been active in wrestling — competing against Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev in RAF — but this was his first scheduled MMA contest since he defeated Warren Spencer under the Misfits banner in August 2025.

Jenkins, who steps in on roughly two days’ notice, arrives off the back of a win over Chris Avila on an MVP MMA card in California in May, giving him recent competitive momentum despite the compressed preparation time.

Perry vs. Jenkins now tops a card that also features the return of UFC veteran Jimi Manuwa and Phil Rowe, both competing in separate boxing bouts.
