AS Monaco has discovered the details of its UEFA Conference League league phase programme. The Monégasques will face six clubs: Brighton, Freiburg, the Red Imps (Gibraltar), Hearts, Nordsjaelland and CSKA Sofia.
The draw offers ASM two high-profile fixtures. The clash against Brighton, a Premier League side, will undoubtedly be the most anticipated encounter, while hosting SC Freiburg, a solid Bundesliga representative, also promises quality opposition.
At the other end of the spectrum, Monaco will welcome the Red Imps, a Gibraltar club whose presence in European competition remains a sporting curiosity. Hearts, the Scottish club from Edinburgh, and Danish side Nordsjaelland complete a balanced group, to which is added CSKA Sofia away in Bulgaria.
The six matches will be played as home-and-away fixtures according to the usual league phase format. The precise order of the matches and exact dates will be communicated by UEFA before Sunday.
