BBC and ITV confirm World Cup 2026 punditry line-ups featuring Giroud, Mata and Postecoglou

BBC Sport and ITV Sport have unveiled their full presenter, pundit and commentary teams for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Former Premier League stars Olivier Giroud, Juan Mata and Cesar Azpilicueta are among the notable new additions.

BBC Sport and ITV Sport have confirmed their complete on-air teams for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with former Premier League forwards Olivier Giroud and Juan Mata among the headline additions to coverage that begins on 11 June and runs through to the final on 19 July.

The tournament, hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, features 104 matches in total. BBC television will show 54 games, while ITV Sport will broadcast 29 group-stage fixtures from a studio in Brooklyn.
