Bayern ready to double Olise's salary to counter Real Madrid and PSG
Named Bundesliga Player of the Year 2025-2026 with 22 goals and 31 assists, Michael Olise is in the sights of Real Madrid and PSG. Bayern Munich wants to keep him by offering a new contract worth 22 million euros annually.
Bayern Munich is preparing to offer Michael Olise a massive salary increase to protect him from the advances of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, according to German newspaper Bild.
The 24-year-old French forward has just been named Bundesliga Player of the Year at the end of the 2025-2026 season, during which he compiled 22 goals and 31 assists in 52 matches across all competitions. These figures have logically attracted Europe’s biggest clubs since the opening of the summer transfer window.
Facing this competition, Bayern intends to strike hard. The Bavarian club is considering raising Olise’s salary to 22 million euros per year, nearly double his current remuneration. The player currently earns 12 million euros fixed, with bonuses that can bring this amount to 16 million euros. The new offer would place him in the club’s top 3 earners, behind Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, both earning around 25 million euros annually.
Olise is under contract with Bayern until June 2029, which places the club in a strong negotiating position. The back-to-back German champions are not in the habit of letting go of their best players, and the management seems determined to continue this logic by securing one of the key pieces of their squad before the situation slips away.
