Barcola heading for PSG exit: Ferran Torres already targeted as replacement for €50M
Frustrated by his playing time and with no contract extension in sight, Bradley Barcola could leave PSG this summer. The Paris club is monitoring Ferran Torres (FC Barcelona) as a potential replacement, according to Sky Italia.
PSG has already identified Ferran Torres as a potential replacement for Bradley Barcola, whose future at the club remains uncertain ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from Sky Italia and journalist Ben Jacobs.
Arriving from Olympique Lyonnais in summer 2023, Barcola established himself as a key element in Luis Enrique’s system. Yet at 23, the French international winger is frustrated by his playing time, and discussions over a contract extension have yet to bear fruit, reports L’Équipe. Without wanting to force his departure, Barcola is not closing the door to a transfer, and PSG would not oppose it — provided they find a successor. In the Premier League, Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be interested in the French player’s profile.
It is in this context that PSG’s leadership has reportedly turned their attention to Ferran Torres. The Spanish striker from FC Barcelona, under contract until 2027, is valued at approximately €50 million. Having previously played for Manchester City before joining Barça, Torres would represent a credible option on the attacking flank, even if his price constitutes a significant investment.
For now, no transfer is confirmed in either direction. But behind the scenes, PSG appears to have anticipated the scenario of a Barcola departure, taking precautions before the official opening of the summer market.
