Arsenal will celebrate their first Premier League title in 22 years with a trophy parade through Islington on Sunday 31 May, beginning at 2pm BST — regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s Champions League final against PSG in Budapest.

The Gunners secured the title after their final league game at Selhurst Park, with captain Martin Odegaard lifting the trophy in front of thousands of supporters. The club’s women’s team will also take part in the parade, having won the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup earlier in the season on the back of their Champions League triumph the year before.

The procession will start on Holloway Road from Drayton Park, heading east along Seven Sisters Road before turning onto Blackstock Road, Mount Grove Road and Green Lanes. It will then continue south along Petherton Road, Beresford Road, Newington Green Road and Essex Road, turning north at Angel underground station onto Upper Street, before looping back via Highbury and Islington Station to Holloway Road.

Fans should note that the Emirates Stadium, Drayton Park and surrounding roads will be closed throughout the event and will not be accessible to the public. The club has specifically advised supporters not to gather around the stadium area, Hornsey Road, Benwell Road or Drayton Park, as the buses will not be visible from those locations.

Road closures and parking suspensions across the area are in effect between 4am and 8pm. Significant congestion is expected at nearby tube and bus stations, and the club is urging fans to allow extra travel time and check TfL and National Rail for live updates.

The Sunday timing is partly shaped by the international calendar. The majority of Arsenal’s squad are due to link up with their national teams ahead of the World Cup, which begins on Thursday 11 June, leaving players little time to rest before international duty.
