Arsenal are pursuing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz as a marquee summer signing, with the Gunners reportedly prepared to meet Juventus’s €100m (£86m) valuation for the 21-year-old Turkey international. Mikel Arteta is said to view Yildiz as a ‘dream target’ for the left wing as the club gear up for their first Premier League title defence in more than two decades.

No official approach has been made yet, with any move expected to be delayed until after the World Cup, where Yildiz is currently representing Turkey. Despite the significant fee involved, Arsenal’s interest has not cooled, underscoring the club’s intent to add genuine top-level quality in wide areas following injury-hit campaigns for both Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke.

Yildiz has been one of Serie A’s standout young players over the past two seasons, attracting admiring glances from several of Europe’s leading clubs. Arsenal’s willingness to meet Juventus’s asking price would signal a clear statement of intent from Arteta as he looks to build on the title-winning squad.

On a separate front, Arsenal are also closing in on Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday that a deal for the 16-year-old was “advancing”, with the Gunners eager to wrap up negotiations. Leicester, who face relegation to League 1 following a dismal 2025/26 season, are seeking around £17m for the highly-rated youngster, though Arsenal are hoping to agree a fee closer to £10m.

Monga was considered one of the few bright spots in Leicester’s troubled campaign and is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in the country. With the club needing to raise funds following their drop down the divisions, a sale this summer appears increasingly likely.

The dual pursuit of Yildiz and Monga reflects Arsenal’s ambition to strengthen across age groups — securing elite senior quality on the left flank while also investing in long-term depth.
