Arsenal prepare bid to lure Bradley Barcola from PSG
The Gunners have identified the French winger from Paris Saint-Germain as their top priority for the summer transfer window and are preparing to submit a concrete offer, according to The Independent. Barcola is under contract with PSG until June 2028 and valued at €70 million.
Arsenal are preparing to submit an offer to Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola, according to The Independent. The London club has made the French winger their offensive priority in this summer’s transfer window, ahead of Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who had so far only monitored the situation without taking action.
Mikel Arteta sees Barcola as a reinforcement capable of competing with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left side of the attack. The French international, signed by PSG for €45 million in the summer of 2023 from Lyon, confirmed his potential during a convincing season, both individually and collectively, contributing to the Parisians’ league and cup double.
Negotiations promise to be complex, however. Barcola is tied to PSG until June 2028 and his market value is estimated at €70 million by Transfermarkt. The capital club has so far shown no intention of parting with him.
In the event of his departure, Paris have already identified two potential successors: Julián Álvarez, currently at Atlético Madrid, and Morgan Rogers, from Aston Villa. Two profiles also being monitored by Arsenal, which could further complicate discussions between the two clubs if negotiations for Barcola were to accelerate.
