All 26 fighters make weight as UFC Baku sets 13-fight card headlined by Fiziev vs Torres

All 26 fighters successfully made weight for UFC Fight Night 280 in Baku, Azerbaijan, locking in a full 13-fight card headlined by a five-round lightweight contest between Rafael Fiziev and Manuel Torres.

Fiziev, a fan favourite known for his explosive striking, returns to the Octagon in what figures to be one of the more entertaining main events of the year. Torres (17-3) enters the fight on a two-fight winning streak, having stopped Drew Dober and Grant Dawson by TKO to announce himself as a genuine contender in the 155-pound division. The Mexican fighter, known as “El Loco”, weighed in at 156 pounds for his first UFC main event appearance, though a loss to Bahamondes in 2024 remains a blemish on his recent record.

The co-main event features a middleweight matchup between Sharabutdin Magomedov (186 lbs) and the ever-entertaining Michel Pereira (185.5 lbs), adding further intrigue to a card stacked with finishers.
