Algeria vs Bolivia Friendly to Be Played Behind Closed Doors with No TV Coverage
Algeria face Bolivia on Wednesday at 22:00 in Kansas City for their final warm-up match before the 2026 World Cup, but the match will be held behind closed doors for security reasons and will not be broadcast on any channel.
Algeria’s final warm-up match before the 2026 World Cup will be played behind closed doors with no television coverage. The match against Bolivia, scheduled for Wednesday at 22:00 in Kansas City (United States), will be inaccessible to supporters and media alike.
According to specialist site Fennec Football, relayed by several French media outlets, security reasons justify the absence of spectators: available personnel on site are fully mobilized by final World Cup preparations. Journalists will also not be accredited to cover the match.
Vladimir Petkovic’s squad landed in Kansas City during the night of Sunday to Monday, where they have established their base camp. Several dozen supporters had made the trip to welcome the Fennecs, who will play their first World Cup since 2014.
This clash against Bolivia comes four days after Algeria’s victory in the Netherlands (0-1) last Wednesday. The Greens will begin their World Cup on June 17 against world champions Argentina (03:00), before facing Jordan on June 23 (05:00) and concluding the group stage against Austria on June 28 (04:00).
